Two hours late to the supposed party I should be at, that should summarize my 009, tardiness.

Didnt expect myself to be in much of a mood to summarize the year the way I always do so here is a draft entry:

(I don't know how or where to start)

This year I've spent more time at the doctor's than at school, more time with strangers than familiar faces. I've gone through the most bizzare phases, heartbreak, depression, oppression, isolation, the whole mellow freak person thing and now... What would I call this place Im in? I don't know the word for it but I know the reason I am this way is because I might finally be at peace with myself.

Have been trying to find the time to sit down and put all these thoughts into pen and paper, or digital texts for that matter.
So this might be slightly un-climatic but I really cannot find another way to describe the year other than with..

This year has been a rollercoaster ride.

I could begin to list the peaks and the troughs but then I wouldn't know how/where to stop. A year of wins and losses this was. You knew this was coming ......... it has been one hell of a year. On my way down I took a u turn and here I am, writing this. This year has been the year of change. Change is indeed evident in me, the people around me and the places that all these have taken place in.

This year I learnt to deal and though I didnt managed to do it with enough grace, I dealt. I dealt with losses in all aspects. People, friendships, materials.

But I have also unknowingly discovered so much in one year. The strangers who were at the right places at the right times. (A stranger who saved me from myself and who isnt so much a stranger anymore) The old friends who never really forgot about me. (For the little notes and thoughts, lovexmxm!) And the new friends, whom have been lovely and given hardly any judgment.

I am bad with people, my friends call me the awkward hostile bitch (albeit in the most endearing manner) and truth be told, I have surrendered myself to that label. So this is to the people who have found enough reason the stay by me, who still love me despite the whole awkward hostile bitch thing. I love you and I hope I always do.

To the people whom I have lost in the year of transition, I love you still and hope 010 will help me find you again.

A year has passed unknowingly because I kept my eyes closed, my heart closed. (Fear does that to you)

And now on to bigger things. In 010 we will keep out eyes open, our heart open. We will continue in our quest to explore more foreign soil. We will discover the world and amongst all other things, find faith and maybe love. You know, maybe take a friend's advice and stop being so logical.

On other news, today saw me going down to the salon to tidy the tress. I now have coffee smelling hair (jean yip for the most amazing ice coffee hair treatment kids!) and jap jap fringe.
The brother and I also went around maxwell (after supper) to hunt for a stupid cucumber (NO, SERIOUSLY A CUCUMBER) because we decided to have a spontaneous home spa/facial night. FUN.

Tmr would be stocking taking, intensive xmas shopping and........ dunchper? HAHA. K bai off to pack for the next installment to my travelthon. If I don't get distracted that is.

Friday night and I am sitting here, writing again. It is 3 in the morning and I have so much work to do - I can hardly see the floor of my room.
My cell is off because it is always facilitating my impulses. On that note why is every incoming call/text of such purpose? Does anyone ever think of me when they are not prompt to? Where is my "coffee in 5? i missed you"
But yes, insomnia, work, 2 carton of new clothes that I have yet to deal with..................................

But amidst disorientation, above this disorientation is ..............a me that is hoping for you. Hopeful for you.

This is me, looking dead (its 430 in the morning) and cross eyed because I couldnt decide if I should be looking at the camera or at the screen. Shitty complexion, check! Uneven eyelids, check! Hobo brows, check! Fat nose, check! Also, forgive the quality and lighting, webcam picture!

Half an hour later. Post nose job, chin tuck, eyelash extensions and forehead lift. I also threw in make up!
